Cellulite is a widespread problem that affects over 75% of women to some degree.
Permanent cellulite treatment in Los Angeles was not possible until technologies such as Aveli were invented.
Cellulite is caused by bands of fibrous tissue that pull down the skin as women age. In a typical teenager, numerous collagen bands hold the skin to the muscle underneath.
These bands of tissue contract in some areas over time, leading to dents in the skin or cellulite.
The greater the contraction of the band, the deeper and worse the cellulite is.
Aveli works by cleaving the bands under the skin, using a minimally invasive technique under local anesthesia. First, we mark the cellulite and then we numb the skin. Next, we make a tiny incision and find the bands one by one.
Next, we use the Aveli device to permanently cleave the bands, releasing them and improving the cellulite.
A typical Aveli session takes about 1-2 hours. Sometimes there is permanent fat loss in the divots created by the bands due to fat destruction from the pressure of the skin being pulled down against the fat. When the bands are released, the skin may not spring all the back and some of the divot may remain. We can combine skin tightening for these areas with Renuvion and incorporate exosomes in after care for these areas.
Reduce cellulite and tighten skin through the semi invasive Aveli and Renuvion device at Aesthetic and Cosmetic Surgeon in Woodland Hills.

Cellulite treatment involves using a hand held device guided by an expertly trained provider to manually target and. release the septa bands causing cellulite from the inside out. It can treat many body areas, but common areas include thighs and buttocks.
Aveli cellulite treatment is done under local anesthesia. Additonally oral pain meds can be given as well.
Aveli is indicated for long term reduction in the appearance of cellulite in the buttocks and thigh areas of adult females.
There is no recovery period or downtime. Most patients return to their daily activities the same day or the day after. There is mild pain with the first 24 hours and bruising and tenderness to the touch which typically with our after care protocol resolves within a week.
